94 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "The 2015 Gran Malbec was produced with selected plots from Los Árboles and fermented in stainless steel, concrete and oak, and then aged in French barriques, 25% of them new, for 12 to 16 months. This shows the cool year, expressive in floral aromas with notes of violets. This comes from naturally low-yielding plots, planted with a massal selection. The oak is not really noticeable; it feels better integrated than in previous years (2015 is also a lot fresher than 2014). In fact, it's a couple of steps up from the previous vintage. It has an elegant and harmonious palate that reflects the house style of great balance and harmony, classical and proportioned. Impressive. 12,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2017. Drink: 2019-2024. (Oct 2019)"

94 points James Suckling: "This offers very attractive, ripe blueberries and cherries with plums also in the mix. The freshness and depth are impressive on the palate with a luxuriously long build of blueberries and blackberries into the finish. Drink or hold. (3/27/19)"

93+ points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Bright medium ruby. Expressive aromas of blackberry, black cherry, dark chocolate and coffee, with exotic spices emerging with air. Plush and fine-grained, with its striking middle-palate sweetness buffered by saline minerality. This very concentrated, long wine finishes tactile and very long, with serious but noble tannins buried under a wave of dark fruits, violet and chocolate. Higher-pitched and more energetic than the 2015 XI Gran Cabernet Franc but not quite ready to drink. I'd love to see this wine from an outstanding vintage. Drink: 2020-2029. (Sep 2019)"
