This distillery direct cask is exclusive to the California market. The first-fill sherry butt yielded just 516 bottles at 58.3% ABV. Bottled without chill filtration, this is a unique opportunity to own an Aberlour classic. All of the barley was sourced from within 15 miles of the distillery and produced with their uniquely soft water from the Birkenbush spring.
Distiller notes: "Nose: Rich, fruity aromas of ripe oranges and raspberry jam. Syrupy plums balanced with warming spicy ginger. Palate: Round and complex. A citrus burst of mandarin and orange marmalade followed by spicy aniseed and ripe figs. Rich, dark chocolate and cloves add depth. Finish: Long and velvety smooth with a sweet spicy finish."
