There is a smoky character present on the beautifully floral aromas of hazelnut, citrus and white orchard fruit. I very much like the sense of underlying tension to the ultra-fresh and pure medium weight flavors that culminate in a clean, dry and mildly austere finale that displays near perfect balance. This isn't quite as concentrated as the Vigne de 1945 cuvée but it's markedly finer. Classy juice and an excellent Meursault villages. Drink: 2025+. (Jun 2019)"
