94 points Wine & Spirits: "The Laherte family farms organically, working with parcels in Coteaux Sud d’Epernay, Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs. This wine is 100 percent pinot meunier, with the variety’s pretty strawberry-pink notes and crunchy herbal tones. The bubbles and those herbal tones combine in a fresh flavor, driving the red fruit long into the finish. This is tight, clean and very dry, a lovely take on meunier."

92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Aurélien Laherte’s new release of Rosé Ultradition is a fifty-fifty blend of 2014 and 2013 juice and is composed entirely of pinot meunier. The blend is done quite uniquely, with sixty percent of the blend fermented as white wine, thirty percent given a short maceration and ten percent of the blend is still red pinot meunier. The vins clairs are fermented in a range of vessels- vats, older casks and foudres, and the wine was finished with a dosage between six and eight grams per liter after its disgorgement in January of 2017. The aromatics here are stunning, soaring from the glass in a complex blend of cherries, rhubarb, a touch of tangerine, wheat bread, complex, chalky soil tones and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and beautifully balanced, with a fine core, excellent focus and grip, frothy mousse and lovely grip on the long, complex and classy finish. This seems quite dry (though not all of the vins clairs go through malo for this cuvée) and I would guess we are around 6.5 grams per liter of dosage for this example, though it seems even a bit drier than this and will make any fan of Extra Brut quite happy! 2018-2040. (Sep/Oct 2018)"

91 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "[$60 list] The NV Brut Rosé Ultradition (Meunier) is a very pretty, delicate wine. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, cedar, sweet spice, tobacco and dried flowers all grace this understated, wonderfully classy Rosé from Laherte. Lifted, perfumed aromatics and silky contours add to its considerable appeal. The Ultradition is a total delight. This release is 60% 2019 and 40% 2018. As always, the Ultradition Rosé is a blend of components that are vinified blanc (60%), with maceration (30%) and saignée (10%). Dosage is 6-8 grams per liter. Disgorged: April, 2022.. Drink: 2022-2028. (May 2022)"
