91-95 points Fine Wine Review: "For a number of years, Lignier has been buying barrels at the Hospices de Nuits auction, raising them, and releasing them. The wine always comes from the outstanding Les Didiers vineyard, which is a Hospices de Nuits monopole, but the cuvées vary. In 2015, two of the barrels are from the Jacques Duret cuvée and two from the Paul Cabet cuvée. Lignier picked the wines up from the Hospices in May and then transferred them to old barrels. The wine is creamy, tannic, and structured from the new oak in which it originally was raised. But there’s also good length to the dark plum fruit. For those patient enough to let the new oak burn off, this should be a good bottle. (1/21/17)"
