A perfumed and exceptionally pretty nose displays notes of earth, dried flowers, sandalwood and anise on the broad range of various red berry fruit aromas. There is a seductive texture to the caressing middle weight flavors where the tannins are also fine and ripe before culminating in a firm but not aggressive finish. This is a ripe yet vibrant effort that will need time to reach its peak yet will probably drink well young as the supporting structure is noticeable but pliant. Drink: 2024+. (Jan 2015)"
