92 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$110 list] A bright, cherry- and black currant–infused red, bursting with juicy fruit, iron and sweet spice flavors. Dense and firmly structured on the back end, with a lightly chewy finish. Excellent length. Best from 2021 through 2036. 50 cases imported. (11/15/19)”
89-91 points and 'Outstanding/Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(this was once entirely from the lieu-dit Charreux, situated on the north side of Gevrey on the Brochon border but now there is also a proportion of Le Seuvrées included). A wonderfully fresh and very Gevrey-style nose offers up notes of red currant, humus-suffused earth and the sauvage. The solidly concentrated flavors are comparatively refined thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins that shape the focused, powerful and long finish that belies a touch of rusticity. This is a very firmly structured villages level wine and some patience absolutely required. Drink: 2026+. (Jan 2018)"
