92-96 points Fine Wine Review: "Last of the Nuits, the Boudots has the creamy texture of the vineyard with finessed. The wine is focused and intense with dark fruit, purity, and freshness. (2/11/17)"

94 points James Suckling: "Some elegance and floral notes with some orange zest, wild raspberries and red cherries. Very vibrant. The palate has attractive tannins that are sturdy yet focused through the finish. Great depth. Needs a year or two to settle. Try from 2021. (2/15/18)"

92-94 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Bright medium red. Aromas of dark cherry, black raspberry, licorice, menthol and violet convey an impression of medicinal reserve. Then surprisingly plush and silky on the palate, display the inner-mouth floral lift that's lacking in some of Jadot's other premier crus from Nuits-Saint-Georges. Finishes firmly tannic, juicy and very long, with a repeating violet quality and no rough edges. Terrific potential here. (Jan 2017)"

93 points Tim Atkin, MW: (Jan 2017)

92 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A wonderfully spicy nose combines notes of plum, violet, cassis, tea and hints of lavender. The concentrated, highly seductive and caressing middle weight plus flavors brim with dry extract that coats the palate on the lingering, dusty, moderately firm and reasonably well-balanced finale though there is a subtle but not unnoticeable hint of warmth. This is without question exceptionally young and while the sap and richness render it approachable, it's clear that this is going to need at least 10 to 12 years to develop better depth as it's a bit one-dimensional today and may well require 15+ to arrive at its full apogee. Drink: 2027+. (Apr 2018)"
