96 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "Colla's 2013 Barolo Bussia Dardi Le Rose is a knock-out. Intensely sweet and perfumed, the 2013 reminds me of some of the most profound Barolos and Barbarescos I have tasted. Ripe red cherry, pipe tobacco, mint, dried rose petal, orange peel and anise are some of the endless nuances that seem to develop in the glass. The 2013 is a wine of depth, pedigree and class. It should provide thrilling drinking for a number of years. This is a regal wine in every way. Don't miss it. Drink 2023-2043. (Oct 2017)"

95 points James Suckling: "Here is a Barolo with extremely perfumed aromas with spice, leather and dried flowers. Hints of dried fruits such as fig and cherry. Full body yet linear and racy with lots of berry, mushroom and orange peel character. Drink now or hold. (7/11/17)"

93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Dardi Le Rose is the name of the farm that the Colla family purchased in Monforte, which Beppe Colla first bottled on its own at Prunotto back in the 1961 vintage, perhaps making his 1961 Bussia the first single vineyard bottling of Barolo. The Colla family farms eight hectares of vines in Bussia Soprano, with six of them dedicated to nebbiolo. Their 2013 Bussia is a superb and classic wine, offering up a fine aromatic constellation of cherries, a hint of orange peel, spit-roasted gamebird, anise, camphor, a marvelous base of soil, fresh oregano and a touch of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure on the attack, with an excellent core of fruit, outstanding soil signature, excellent focus and grip and a long, ripely tannic and vibrant finish that shows excellent nascent complexity. This is a classic bottle of Bussia that is going to be simply superb when it is ready to drink. 2028-2075. (Jan/Feb 2018)"

93 points and 'Cellar Selection,' Wine Enthusiast: "Truffle, underbrush, new leather and chopped herb aromas slowly emerge in the glass. The bright, elegantly structured palate delivers tart cherry, licorice and tobacco alongside vibrant acidity and tightly wound noble tannins. It's still youthfully austere so give it time to develop. Drink 2023-2033. Alcohol 14%. (Dec 2017)"
