93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "...fine aromatic constellation of plums, cherries, a touch of chocolate, mustard seed, beautiful minerality, wood- smoke and a touch of spice... pure, full-bodied and shows off lovely mid-palate depth, with almost a touch of generosity on the attack, fine-grained tannins, tangy acids and lovely length and grip on the suave and still very primary finish... very obvious generosity that this wine is showing augurs extremely well for its future development. 2025-2055. (Mar/Apr 2015)"

93 points and 'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .69 ha parcel in Rugiens-Bas). An all but invisible application of wood sets off an even more deeply pitched nose that displays a touch of the sauvage along with smoke and humus nuances on the earthy dark berry fruit liqueur-like aromas. There is a relatively refined mouth feel to the sleekly muscular medium weight flavors that possess very fine mid-palate concentration thanks to the abundant dry extract that imparts a textured mouth feel to the very firm finish that is shaped by a prominent tannic spine. This beauty is very clearly built-to-age and indeed it will need plenty of it. Drink: 2024+. (Apr 2015)"
