99 points Robert Parker: "The 2010 Cote Rotie Lancement flirts with perfection, but, sadly, only six barrels (1,600 bottles) were produced. A sublime wine with a stunning nose of spring flowers, apricot marmalade, creme de cassis and raspberry liqueur, it is a full-bodied, inky, incredibly rich, complex, multidimensional red to drink over the next 15+ years. (Dec 2012)"

97 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Inky ruby. Powerful, expansive aromas of raspberry liqueur, Asian spices, sandalwood and smoky minerals, with an exotic floral nuance that gains power with air. Deeply concentrated but lively, offering palate-staining red fruit and floral pastille flavors and a strong spicy quality. Fine-grained tannins add grip to an incredibly long, sappy and penetrating finish, which clings with remarkable tenacity. One of the great wines of the Rhone from this outstanding vintage. (Mar/Apr 2013)"

97 points Wine Spectator: "Shows stunning depth and richness, with loads of velvety tannins carrying waves of blackberry, fig and dark plum confiture flavors. The long finish cruises throughout, with charcoal, black tea and roasted alder notes all deftly inlaid. An echo of iron lingers. Best from 2017 through 2035. 20 cases imported. (9/17/14)"
