99 points Bettane & Desseauve's Guide to the Wines of France: "With its complex bouquet, fine texture, and infinite suaveness, the 1995 Blanc des Millénaires has exceptional finesse and magnificent subtlety. Drink: 2011 up to 2020. (2011)"

97 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide 2014-2015): "(the A-list of the Côte des Blancs: Cramant, Avize, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Vertus; 100% chardonnay; 11g/L dosage; disgorged 2012). Blanc des Millénaires... has transcended to another plane of silken magnificence at a full 18 years of glorious age. The greatest soils of the Côte des Blancs rumble in precise, finely chalky mineral tones, energising a dizzyingly primary energy of lemon and grapefruit. Its voice has deepened as it's grown through adolescence, textured with nougat and spice, wisps of smoke and nuances of hearth. The finish is an epic revelation, undeviating and undiminished for minutes. No one would have ever expected 1995 to blossom at this age, and such is its monumental poise and seamless completeness, who knows what it might have in store in the decades to come? (2013)"

96 points Wine & Spirits: "Remarkably fresh for a 1995, this tastes as if the chardonnay had ripened to near perfection, with glistening, transparent skins and acidities that toned the pulp so that a decade later the beautiful freshness of the grapes is still there in the wine. That fruit character ghosts the enveloping richness, the searing chalk acidity, the flavor of autumn-red apples to last for minutes after each sip. Absolutely delicious. (Dec 2006)"

95 points Richard Juhlin: "(100% Chardonnay). So silky-smooth and with such intensive nut toffee! The toastiness is there, but lying swimming in an oily nectar which prevents it from really making its way forward as it does in many other vintages. Pretty mousse and uplifting charm. (Apr 2015)"

95 points Wine Spectator: "[$250 list] A mouthwatering Champagne, refined and satiny in texture, with a citrusy overtone to the flavors of apricot preserves, toasted hazelnut and brioche, crystallized honey and fleur de sel. Presents a lasting, smoke- and spice-filled finish. Drink now through 2025. (9/16/15)"

95 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 1995 Brut Blanc des Millenaires shows just how compelling this often overlooked vintage can be. Layers of lemon, pastry spices, crushed rocks and savory herbs literally jump from the glass in this exquisite, perfumed, beautifully delineated Champagne. The 1995 shows lovely flavor complexity and nuance from its extended time in bottle, yet it also retains plenty of freshness, verve and acidity. This is a great showing from Charles Heidsieck... Drink: 2013-2022. (Oct 2012)"

94+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "I love the 1995 Blanc de Millenaires and the wine is drinking very nicely at age twenty. The bouquet jumps from the glass in a mature blend of apple walnut, warm bread, a superbly complex base of soil tones, a touch of crème patissière and plenty of smokiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very well-balanced, with a fine core, excellent focus and grip, elegant mousse and a very long, poised and complex finish. This is now at its apogee of peak drinkability, but still has decades of life ahead of it. Fine, fine juice. 2015-2035. (Nov/Dec 2015)"
