93 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(2009 base vintage; disgorged December 2013; largely Côte des Blancs [Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Chouilly, Vertus] and Montgueux, Trépail, Épernay and the Vitry region; 30% reserve wines; aged on lees 4-5 years; 10g/L dosage; DIAM). Understated elegance and backward purity make this the most refined Henriot Blanc de Blancs I can recall. A brilliant pale straw hue is testimony to the energy it retains even after more than five years. It's a gentle style of yellow citrus, white stone fruits and granny smith apple, celebrating lees age in a soft, creamy texture, and almond, nougat and toasted brioche characters. Soft, fine chalk minerality and a balanced acid line are well integrated. Any lack of distinction in persistence or character it more than makes up for in gentle, caressing appeal and graceful refinement. (2016/2017)"

91+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "This was drunk at the Hostellerie des Clos in Chablis during my November trip to Burgundy. As there is no date of disgorgement on the back label, I am not sure if this is the same release as the most current in the US market, but the wine was showing very nicely. The bouquet offers up a classic blend of pear, lemon, chalky minerality, bread dough and a topnote of spring flowers. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and nicely focused, with refined mousse, lovely focus and balance and a long, zesty finish. 2016-2035. (Nov/Dec 2016)"

Vibrant citrus and orchard fruit flavors possess very good depth and show a strong, minerally quality that builds in the glass. Notes of iodine and buttered toast come up on the finish, which shows impressive clarity and stony persistence. (Dec 2013)"
