92-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This is also notably ripe with black cherry, pungent earth and evident sauvage nuances that also characterize the impressively rich and seductively textured broad-shouldered and concentrated flavors that coat the palate with extract, all wrapped in a balanced, long and deep finish. I very much like the way this fans out on the finish as the breadth is inspired. Note that plenty of patience is a requisite here. Drink: 2025+. (Jan 2012)"
91-93 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Good full red. Complex, showy aromas of fig, spices, coffee, smoke and mocha. Large-scaled, round and sweet; the fullest and most expressive of these 2010s today, and harmonious already. Finishes with round tannins and smoky oak. 'No punishment for the mouth,' notes Clavelier. This soil-inflected Corton from marly soil could hardly be more different in style from the estate's cuvees from calcaire. (Jan/Feb 2012)"
