88 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2011 Felino Chardonnay is whole cluster pressed from vines planted in Lujan de Cuyo, Tupungato and San Carlos. All but 5% is aged in stainless steel with just a smattering of new oak. It has a light bouquet of linden and Mirabelle that is defined but tightly coiled at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet coconut and shaved ginger-tinged entry. It is nicely balanced, the finish imbued with touches of honeysuckle and orange zest. Fine. Drink now-2016. (Oct 2012)"
Producer notes: "Bright aromas of pineapple and white peach jump out of the glass, with hints of orange blossom in the background. The silky texture belies a crisp, refreshing palate reinforcing the tropical fruit notes with delicate oak undertones and lively acidity on the finish. 5% fermented and aged for 9 months in French oak barrels (15% new); 95% stainless steel tank fermented."
