90-94 points Fine Wine Review: "The 2008s from this estate look most promising. François Bertheau said that he began harvesting on 21 September. He had to sort out about 30% of the crop, both for rot and for uneven ripeness. The wines are entirely destemmed. Bertheau’s Chambolle-Charmes also is light in color. In the mouth, there is more depth and substance making for a really lovely wine for its chewiness that combines with finesse and its earthy red fruit. (Issue #128; 2010)"
