Not yet reviewed; 2009 vintage rated 90+ points by John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Tajinaste is located on the island of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, and I have been very impressed with the quality of their wines in the past. The 2009 Tinto Tradicional is another absolute winner and a superb value, as it delivers a complex and pure bouquet of black cherries, pomegranate, balsamic tones, garrigue, coffee and soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and sappy at the core, with modest tannins, good acids and fine length and grip on the smoky finish. This is really a fine bottle of wine that is drinkable now, but will gain in complexity and blossom a bit more on the palate with another year or two’s worth of bottle age. 2011-2020+."
