88 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Champs Royaux bottling is the villages bottling of Chablis made from purchased grapes by the domaine. I am not sure if these were picked prior to the rains of the 24th, but given that the wine has a bit less mineral drive than the domaine’s own AC, I suspect that these grapes came in after the 24th. It is still a very lovely village wine, offering up an attractive nose of green apple, lemon, tart orange, a touch of straw and a gentle topnote of oyster shell. On the palate the wine is deep, fullish and racy, with very respectable mid-palate depth and lovely length and grip on the focused finish. Good juice. 2011-2020. (Nov/Dec 2011)"
88 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(a négociant wine; note that Champs Royaux is a trademarked name, not the name of a vineyard). A highly expressive nose of flower, citrus and plenty of sea shore nuances leads to very fresh and racy flavors that are at once delicious and refreshing while culminating in a dry and long finish that displays a hint of Sauvignon Blanc-like character. Drink: 2012+. (Oct 2011)"
88 points and 'Best Buy,' Wine & Spirits: "[$25 list] Closed for now, this gives hints of green pear and dusty talc. It’s light and delicate, needing bottle age to evolve. (Oct 2012)"
