92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2010 Grands Liards had only been racked into tank at the start of November, but was still showing extremely well out of tank. The bouquet is deep, pure and just oozes with the inherent elegance of the 2010 vintage, as it delivers scents of black cherries, dark berries, French roast, gamebirds and a very complex base of soil. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very suave on the attack, with sappy core of fruit, ripe, fine-grained tannins and outstanding length and grip on the tangy and very complex finish. This is a brilliant bottle of Grands Liards in the making! 2018-2040+. (Nov/Dec 2011)"

89-92 points Fine Wine Review: "The Savigny, Grands Liards is from vines planted at various times between 1939 and 1977. This red-fruited wine shows excellent depth, a smooth palate, and it is pure and racy -- a great combination. (Issue #137; 2013)"

16.5/20 points Michel Bettane (The World of Fine Wine): "Delcious racy nose, with ancient rose undertones; very good colour for a village Savigny and winemaking with a good proportion of whole berries. Long and harmonious. (Issue #35; 2012)"
