88+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2005 Savigny Blanc is a very pretty and forward example of the vintage... The bouquet is a blend of pear, quince, honeycomb and a nice base of chalky soil tones. On the palate the wine is fullish, broad and tasty, with good gras, nice framing acids, and solid length on the finish that closes with a floral topnote. A very tasty bottle... 2006-2012+. (Nov/Dec 2006)"

88 points Fine Wine Review: "The white Savigny itself shows strong minerality in the nose and is very ripe in the mouth with lots of power and excellent length, but it is perhaps a touch short in acidity for my palate. Now-2012+. (Issue #115; 2007)"

87 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(100% chardonnay from a number of different parcels). A fruity and distinctly exotic fruit nose that is a bit riper with rich, delicious and relatively forward flavors that offer more size and weight plus a bit more depth on the nicely dry finish. Solid if not distinguished but it avoids the heaviness Savigny whites often display. Drink: 2008+. (Jul 2007)"
