Very primary aromas of black cherry, minerals, licorice, flowers and leather. Juicy and penetrating, with medicinal black cherry flavor intensified by strong acidity. 'Lighter than the 2009 dolcetto, and good for everyday drinking,' noted Maria-Teresa Mascarelo. This very pure wine grew on me. (Oct/Nov 2011)"
