92 points Robert Parker: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder has a dense ruby/purple color and a sweet nose of blueberries, black currants, and spring flowers. It is medium to full-bodied and very juicy, with pure, concentrated fruit, sweet tannin, a hint of graphite and a long finish. While it's not the 2007, it's a beauty. Drink it over the next 10-14 years. (Dec 2010)"
92 points Wine & Spirits: "The fresh black cherry flavors of this wine have a cool, foresty tone. They add juiciness to the mineral tannins, mellowing the earthy intensity of the cabernet grape skins and softening their grip. Air gentles it further, suggesting it will age well for several years, ready along the way to decant for grilled lamb. (Dec 2011)"
91 points Wine Spectator: "At points supple and generous, with ripe plum and black cherry, mineral and anise notes, yet on the finish the tar- and sage-laced tannins give the flavors traction and depth. Drink now through 2021. 846 cases made. (10/31/11)"
