This special small production Pinot, 250 cases, is crafted from select barrels aged in 100% new French oak. A gorgeous velvety bodied Pinot with vibrant delicious notes of black cherry, currant, cedar, soft tannin, and lively acidity. Personally planted in 1982 by Robert Talbott, Diamond T Vineyard is located on a 1,200 foot mountaintop. Only 8 miles from Carmel Bay, Diamond T has a southern exposure that benefits from the cool ocean fog in the mornings and evenings. This moderating marine influence leads to an extended growing season producing fuller flavored grapes. Diamond T is farmed with a focus on sustainable agricultural methods. Alcohol 14.4%."
