89 points David Schildknecht (Wine Advocate): "[$17 list] The von Buhl 2009 Riesling Maria Schneider -- this vintage representing an assemblage from several sites -- features kiwi, white peach, and sweet corn with a dusty crushed stone note as well as invigorating salinity in its finish. Twelve grams of residual sugar -- less than usual for this bottling -- suit it perfectly, amplifying the lusciousness of the fruit without engendering any sense of overt sweetness. Slim and refreshing yet with a fine sense of underlying extract and a subtly silken feel, this fine value represents the best installment of its cuvee that I can recall. Enjoy this over the next 3-4 years. (Feb 2011)"
88 points Wine Spectator: "[$17 list] There's a crisp citrus twist to the Bosc pear, apple and spice flavors, with good length on the firm finish. Drink now through 2014. (12/31/10)"
88 points Fine Wine Review: "The Maria Schneider medium dry is fruity but tastes relatively dry (12 g/l residual sugar here -- less than in the past). The wine is silky and mineral. (Issue #131/132; 2011)"
