Producer notes: "The nose is redolent of earth, French oak and red raspberry. The opening palate reflects red cherries then promptly moves on to exhibit classic Zinfandel tannins. The varietal's peppery characteristic is secondary in this wine, so we like to refer to this as a Zinfandel for Pinot Noir fans. 190 cases produced."
