Varietal: Chasselas. From the Lavaux region of Switzerland. The Dézaley Chemin de Fer comes fully into its own after being aged for a year. Then it shows off a complexity of aromas built upon the fragrance imprint of flint, its pedigree and its nobility. Its opulence, velvety flavors, honeyed and flattering notes come alive in the mouth and stretch out into a long finale. An excellent match with poultry in cream and truffle sauce, fish or shellfish in sauch, or aged Gruyère or Vacherin de Fribourg cheese.
