91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from purchased grapes in Chapelle proper). Strong reduction blocks the nose though there is plenty of energy and punch to the detailed, powerful and lightly mineral-driven flavors that possess both good size and solid weight, especially on the vibrant, balanced and seriously persistent finish. There is fine depth of material here and while this is somewhat awkward today, I see no reason why this shouldn't be excellent in time. Drink: 2024+. (May 2011)"
91-94 points Fine Wine Review: "The Chapelle-Chambertin in both nose and mouth is stony -- one can taste the stones here. The wine is medium-weight with pure dark fruit flavors. The wine is a little austere for the moment, but that’s what I expect from Chapelle-Chambertin. (Issue #130; 2011)"
