95 points The Champagne Guide: "(2009 base vintage; disgorged March 2014; blend of 50% Avize for structure, Cramant for florals, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for definition and Chouilly for depth; 25% reserves; a little bâtonnage in tanks for texture; 6 g/L dosage; DIAM closure). The 2009 base is an impeccable follow-on to the arresting 2008. A magnificent accord of white citrus and white stone fruits meets the gentle patisserie, butter and nougat character of five years of maturity, creating an enticing style at once focused, honed and refreshing and at the same time creamy, soft and textural, energised by tense, energetic acidity and a softly rumbling undercurrent of grand cru minerality. (2016-2017)" -Tyson Stelzer

93 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "(disgorged July 9, 2010): Pale, green-tinged yellow. A complex bouquet displays scents of green apple, pear, lemon zest, toasty lees and honeysuckle. Packs a solid punch but conveys a weightless quality, offering sappy orchard fruit and citrus flavors along with suave mineral and floral qualities. The toasty note returns on the long, impressively incisive finish. (Dec 2010)"

92+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The non-vintage Blanc de Blancs is not a large production item for Billecart-Salmon, and one does not cross paths with it regularly. The current release is all 2007 vintage and was aged nearly five years on the lees prior to disgorgement. Billecart produces their Blanc de Blancs bottlings from fruit sourced in only three villages in the Côte des Blancs- Chouilly, Mesnil-sur-Oger and Cramant. The new release offers up a deep and lovely aromatic blend of pear, apple, stony minerality, bread dough, a hint of the pastry cream to come with bottle age and orange zest. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and very elegant, with a lovely core of fruit, refined mousse and excellent length and grip on the well-balanced, youthful and classy finish. This is a very fine bottle of Blanc de Blancs that will only improve as it blossoms a bit more structurally with further bottle age. 2013-2025+. (Jan/Feb 2013)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "Lightly toasty and creamy in texture, yet well-cut and vibrant throughout, this shows a minerally base note underscoring the flavors of poached pear, candied lemon zest, toasted brioche and pickled ginger. Drink now through 2020. (11/30/14)"

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "The balance of this wine is immediately striking. Everything is in its place: the crisp apples, tight acidity and the mineral texture are all just right. It’s a delicious, perfumed and fragrant wine that is ready to drink with its light, poised aftertaste. Drink: 12%. (Dec 2015)"

2-1/2 stars, New York Times: "Light, lacy, clear and pure with a fine texture and toasty, nutlike flavors. (12/19/11)"

18/20 points Tom Stevenson (The World of Fine Wine): "(12% abv). Classy, understated, but ultimately fulfilling, youthful Chardonnay fruit, this beautiful Champagne has obvious class and the ability to age. Great minerality. Drink or keep 2-3 years. (Issue #45; 2014)"
