Mark was first introduced to the fine wine business in 1983 and immediately developed a passion for it. After attending several wine courses and working at the largest volume wine store in Maryland, he became the instructor of the advanced wine tasting course at Anne Arundel College in Annapolis, Maryland. Mark moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and put in some time at a couple of our wine shop competitors before joining WHWC in 2005. He has attended many international wine events, has visited many wineries' tasting rooms and vineyards including Oregon, Washington, France, Italy and Spain. Besides conducting walk-in sales, e-mail, telephone and Internet orders, Mark pours wine at our weekly tasting bar here at the store on Saturday.
