Producer notes: "[$18 list] 45% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Riesling, 25% Pinot Gris. Named after Fred Brander's daughter, this Sauvignon Blanc blend is sourced from the best estate lots in the Santa Ynez Valley. It's produced and aged in stainless steel to preserve its crisp freshness, but is made in an off-dry style, giving it a little extra body and a resemblance to some wines from Alsace France."
Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 87 points by Wine Enthusiast: "A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Gris. It’s crisp and clean in acidity, with zesty flavors of pineapples, oranges, mangoes and vanilla. If only it were drier, the score would be much higher. 702 cases. Alcohol 13%."

Producer notes: "56% Pinot Grigio, 31% Sauvignon Blanc, 13% Gewürztraminer. The 2011 vintage marks the third year with David Ramey as our consulting winemaker, whose wines of balanced expression have made him one of the most renowned and influential winemakers in America today. The 2011 vintage was marked by a cool wet spring, a long growing season and a very small crop. The 2011 Serenity is a distinctive proprietary blend that displays fruit forward aromas of citrus, honeysuckle, nectarine and with expressive minerality. The flavors are rich and deep showing white peach, passion fruit, and honeydew melon with a hint of lime. The wine is well-balanced, leaving a long, clean and well-textured finish, like summer in a glass. Alcohol 13.3%."

Producer notes: "The startlingly fresh, vivid aromas of our 2012 Sauvignon Blanc literally leap out of the glass, redolent of just-cut white grapefruit, bracing gooseberry, lime and kiwi, and ripe honeydew melon, with subordinate spice and vanilla scents. On the medium-bodied palate, the wine's ripe grapefruit, guava, melon, green apple and mineral flavors are remarkably rich, intense, concentrated and vibrant, with a long, full finish packed with fresh fruit and mineral/chalky (a la White Bordeaux) tones. This is our 38th vintage of Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, and it's a doozy, unquestionably one of our best. Savor it over the next 3-5 years as an ideal apèritif wine and with your favorite salad, seafood, poultry and pasta dishes."

Producer notes: "This 2010 version strikes me as the driest, most robust Riesling we’ve made since the 1988. This is certainly no 'sweet sipping wine.' In its firm structure and generous proportions it may be compared to an Alsace grand cru Riesling, and bear in mind that those wines are considered the primary dinner wines of that region. We therefore recommend highly that you show off this food-friendly Riesling at the dinner table, pairing it with a richly-sauced chicken dish or, even better, with a hearty 'Seafood Soup'. 80% tank fermented, 20% barrel fermented. 648 cases produced. Residual sugar: 0.2%. Alcohol 12.8%."

Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 89 points by Wine Spectator: "Wonderfully effusive, a bouquet of honeysuckle and jasmine gives way to ripe, fleshy peach, pear, tangerine and melon notes. Producer notes: "This Etude Pinot Gris opens with inviting aromas of white stone fruit, honeysuckle and jasmine. Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 89 points by Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Pinot Gris is a beautiful wine layered with lime, grapefruit, mint and crushed rocks. This gorgeous, focused white is best enjoyed over the next few years. The Pinot Gris is done entirely in stainless steel and the malolactic fermentation is blocked. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013."

Producer notes: "Our 2012 Sauvignon Blanc was produced from grapes grown in various microclimates of the Napa Valley. The warmer Napa Valley microclimates give us grapes that result in wines with a lush, full melon/citrus character in the aroma and in the flavor. The cooler Napa Valley fruit provides a solid, crisp backbone that gives the wine an exciting liveliness that balances the rich creaminess from 'sur lie' aging."

Producer notes: "[$21 list] This beautiful Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Moskowite Ranch on the eastern foothills of Napa Valley. This older Sauvignon Blanc vineyard, which has been the source for our Sauvignon Blanc wines for over a decade, is a hillside planting with well-exposed fruit. The exposed fruit leads to an accentuated fruitiness rather than underexposed fruit which can cause a herbaceous wine style. Our Sauvignon Blanc bursts in your face with beautiful aromatic fruits. The nose of Oro Blanco Grapefruit, which is also grown here on our property at the winery, almost jumps out of the glass at you. The bright orange citrus fruits of Mandarin and Clementine mingle to wake the senses and welcome you to have more. On the mouth this wine continues its citrus parade across the palate and invites the flavors of white stone fruits along for the ride. The amazing balance of fruitiness and tart acid makes this a wine you will not want to put down."

Producer notes: "Nectar of the Gods! True Ice Wines are rare in our corner of the world; our unique climate is excellent for capturing the intense sweetness and crisp acidity necessary for top-notch dessert wines. We pick these Red Mountain Chenin Blanc grapes during a deep freeze in order to coax the concentrated juice needed for a dessert wine of this caliber. This involves monitoring vineyard temperatures deep into the night and picking at the right time to ensure optimal flavor and sugar extraction. Tasting Notes: Aromas of honeysuckle and tropical pineapple practically leap out of the glass. The intense sweetness is framed by generous acidity, elegant herbaceous grasses, and ripe apricot. Residual sugar: 27.1%."

Ripe grapefruit, pear and spice notes linger on the palate with a mouthwatering bright finish of minerality and freshness. The wine was then aged seven months sur lie for additional texture and complexity in 80% stainless steel barrels and 20% French oak (10% new and 10% seasoned). Our Sauvignon Blanc was bottled unfiltered. Alcohol 13.9%. 24 barrels produced."

Producer notes: "[$65 list] Moraga White Wine is produced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes that are picked in a very narrow window of time, when the flavors shift from grapefruit zest to peach, nectarine and tropical fruit. The grapes are gently pressed and the juice is cold-settled, then racked into specially built stainless steel barrels that maximize lees contact. Initially about 20 percent of the juice is fermented in new French oak barrels and is then used to top the stainless steel barrels as the fermentation progresses. Ultimately, the wine receives a kiss of oak during fermentation, but is aged solely in stainless steel barrels. In order to preserve the beautiful fruit and refreshing acidity, the wine does not go through malolactic fermentation. It is aged on the yeast lees from eight to ten months prior to bottling. The purpose of these practices is to maintain the structure and texture of the wine, while allowing the exotic fruit and mineral characteristics of the vineyard to dominate the flavor profile. Bottling occurs in the late spring or early summer of the year following harvest, and the wine is bottle-aged for a year prior to release. The wine is an atypically long-lived Sauvignon Blanc."

Producer notes: "In our 2012 Sauvignon Blanc, we made a slight change from previous vintages by adding a small percentage of delicious Sauvignon Blanc fruit from my parent’s ranch, the Rutherford Dust #1 Vineyard, to the main vineyard source coming from the lower, eastern foothills of Howell Mountain in Napa Valley. The finished wine has lovely complexity for a whole-cluster press, stainless steel fermented, no oak white wine. Perfect with seafood dishes and when the warm weather of spring and summer finally come, we look forward to many meals when this is our first course wine and our reds follow. The recipe we use yields strongly aromatic characters including pure Sauvignon Blanc fruit, but also guava, stone fruit, pineapple and citrus. The typical Sauvignon Blanc acidity, well suited for seafood and rich, flavorful sauces, is balanced with the creamy texture from the sur lie aging, creating a lively, intensely flavored wine with a long, lingering finish. Best serve chilled but not too cold -- you will miss some of the tropical flavors if less than 42 degrees. Alcohol 14.3%."

Producer notes: "This wine is the very first commercial release comprised of 100% Estate grown fruit.
Made in a style reminiscent to that of Alsace, this wine is rich, bright, and complex with notes of white flowers, lychee, apricot, quince and a touch of spice on the finish. Its high acidity makes it a perfect pairing to many different styles of food, including spicy Asian-inspired cuisine. Alcohol 13%. 350 cases produced."
PinotFile: "A boutique family owned and operated vineyard and winery producing small lots of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris in the northern Willamette Valley of Oregon. The vineyard farm, acquired in 2008, is the owner's home. The estate vineyard is 26 acres located in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Planting commenced in the spring of 2009 with multiple Pinot Noir clones including Pommard, Wadenswil, Dijon 113, 114, 115 and Pinot Gris clones 146 and 152. The vineyard is dry farmed organically."

Producer notes: "[$14 list] The 2011 bottling of this distinctive blend opens with a dazzling spectrum of fruit and floral aromas, from crisp white peach, honeyed pear and sweet mango, to touches of fresh jasmine blossom and white chai tea. Filled with bright and juicy fruits, the palate flaunts flavors of succulent white nectarine, candied pineapple, green fig and subtle grapefruit. The crisp and slightly off-dry flavor profile lasts well through the clean and refreshing finish."
2010 vintage rated 90 points by Robert Parker: "This remarkable cuvee has been a great value for thrifty consumers for a number of years. The 2010 Chenin Blanc-Viognier (79% of the former and 21% of the latter) sells for a preposterously low price. Moreover, it is a 50,000 case lot so there is wide availability. Wonderfully crisp, elegant, fresh honeydew melon, spring flower, white peach and honeysuckle aromas soar from the glass of this zesty, dry, medium-bodied white wine. The melon character follows through on the palate of this pure, delicious, screw cap-finished effort. Enjoy it over the next year."
