90 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "($50) Bright red. Redcurrant and strawberry on the nose, with a lively underpinning of brown spices. Finely etched red berry flavors are given spine by a nervy mineral quality and pick up a rose pastille note on the back end. Finishes with a sweeter black raspberry quality and very good, sneaky persistence. This wine should age nicely on its balance and freshness. (May/Jun 2009)"
90 points Wine Spectator: "[$50 list] Light, silky and inviting, with a gossamer texture letting the delicate blueberry, cherry and nutmeg flavors slip easily through the long, enticing finish. Drink now through 2012. 2,414 cases made. (10/15/09)"
Producer notes: "Our 2007 Willamette Valley wine shows a delicate medium ruby color and very expressive aromas consisting of sweet cherries, a walk through the woods and a splash of white flowers. It consists of wine made from the following vineyards: Beaux Frères, Shea, Upper Terrace, Zena Crown, Amalie Robert and Carabella. The wine represents one of the silkiest and most feminine styles we have made to date. There is no lack of concentration but the equilibrium of all the elements seems to be the cheif hallmark of this very successful vintage. This wine is already delicious to drink now and showing complexity which makes us think that it will be a wine to drink within the first 5-7 years of its life. The balance which is always so critical is there. The tannins are unobtrusive and extremely silky. This is a real crowd pleaser, a very lush and beautifully supple Pinot Noir for the fan of instant gratification."

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$70 list] From the winery’s Annapolis Vineyard, at the cool, northern tip of the 'true' Sonoma Coast, comes this chunky young Pinot Noir. Although the grapes were destemmed before fermentation, the tannins are significant, a reflection of the low yields and tough skins the berries develop. In fact, the wine is almost Zinny in its full body and spicy, briary fruit. It clearly needs time. Best after 2011. (Jul 2009)"
92 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "[$70 list] Bright red. Exotic red and dark berry compote, cherry-cola and potpourri aromas are complicated by smoky minerals and herbs. Fleshy, seductively sweet raspberry and candied cherry flavors are strikingly pure and concentrated, with silky tannins adding support. Gains weight with air and finishes with excellent clarity and persistence. Put this one away for a couple of years, at least. (May/Jun 2009)"
Producer notes: "Vibrant black cherry, mineral, coffee and Asian spice aromas and flavors complement the fine grained, silky tannins that reflect the cool, coastal ridge terroir."

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$60 list] Classic Laetitia, dark, dry, full-bodied and richly extracted. The cherry, persimmon and pomegranate fruit is so forward, it tastes sweet, except that the wine finishes fully dry. Acidity is evident, as are grippy tannins, and the fruit and spice finish lasts a long time. An evident ager. Best after 2013. (Apr 2011)"
92 points Connoisseurs' Guide: "[$60 list] A bit bigger and more brawny that the winery's "La Colline" bottling, the 2007 "Les Galets" is marked by emphatic ripeness and shows a good sense of fruity mass. It hints here and there at smoke and black soils, but remains fixed on sweet cherries from beginning to end, and it finishes with a touch of heat and enough palpable tannin to make a good case for another five or so years of patience. (Jun 2011)"
90 points California Grapevine: "Medium purplish ruby; attractive, intense, plummy, slightly smoky, ripe black cherry and dark berry fruit aroma; medium-full to full body; rich, textured, toasty, spicy, raspberry and ripe black cherry fruit flavors with notes of clove and cola; nicely balanced and firmly structured; medium-full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very highly recommended. 14.1% alcohol; 250 cases; released July 2010. (Dec 2010/Jan 2011)"
