90 points Ian D'Agata (International Wine Cellar): "Bright dark ruby-red. Highly perfumed nose offers intense notes of red cherry, bay leaf, oregano and mint. Then dense, rich and smooth on the palate, with chewy, musky flavors of red cherries, dried herbs and minty cocoa. The long finish displays a soil-driven personality. Very good wine from a small, family-run estate; the'07 Faro was great too. (Mar/Apr 2011)"
Two Glasses, Gambero Rosso: "The classy Faro '08, from nerello mascalese, cappuccio and nocera, has a seductive, intense garnet hue and pervasive aromas of blackberry, nutmeg and tobacco. This is a stylish, lively wine with silky tannins. (2011)"

90 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$42 list] There’s a wild, untamed quality to this 100% Nero d’Avola that comes forth as almond, wild berry, cola and dried ginger. Made according to biodynamic principles, this is fresh, tart, focused and complex. It offers a thrilling experience. 1,000 cases produced. Alcohol 13%. (Mar 2013)"
Arianna Occhipinti is a young Sicilian producer from the Cerasuola di Vittoria DOC. The production is biodynamic, with no synthetic products or chemicals used in the vineyard or winery. Aged in French oak barrels and barriques, the Siccagno Nero d'Avola shows an intense violet purple color. The nose expresses hits of ripe fruit (raspberry, maraschino cherry, black currant and plum) that blends with hints of leather, clove, white pepper oregano and nutmeg. Full fruit flavors are balanced by racy acidity and long persistence.

94 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2010 Passopisciaro is deceptively mid-weight, but behind the light color and seeming fleeting structure lies a deeply expressive core of perfumed red berries, crushed rocks, flowers and mint. A burst of deep salinity frames the bracing finish. Quite simply, this is a stunning wine. Think of the Passopisciaro as a cross of Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin and Gattinara. The Passopisciaro bottling is made from parcels in Guardiola and smaller pieces that aren’t large enough to be bottled separately. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. (Feb 2013)"
93 points James Suckling: "A wine with lovely texture and length with strawberry. Full body, with beautiful density of fruit and a silky and round finish. Drink now or hold. (11/8/12)"
