87 points Wine Spectator: "[$23 list] This red tastes like cherry pie, complete with the pastry, plus light spice flavors lingering on the finish. Drink now through 2014. (6/15/11)"
86 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A moderately exotic fruit suffused nose also evidences hints of melon and straw that lead to rich and fresh flavors that possess good volume and vibrancy on the balanced and delicious finish where a touch of citrus surfaces. This is a very solid if rather forward effort for what it is. Drink: 2012+. (Feb 2011)"
84-88 points Fine Wine Review: "The Bourgogne, reserve is from Fixin, Marsannay, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Chorey-les-Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, and Marsannay. About 25% new wood on this wine. The red fruit aromas are followed by dark fruit flavors in the mouth, a smooth texture, and tannins that, although smooth, are present. (Issue #130; 2011)"

Marsannay Rosé is unique in that Marsannay is the only village appellation in Burgundy that offers the full range of white, red and rosé wines. Bruno Clair's rosé is part of its family history since the owner's grandfather, after returning from the war in 1919, had the idea to vinify the grapes of Pinot Noir into rosé wine for the first time. The success of this original wine was such that it became a specialty of the commune and acquired a certain amount of fame, which spread across France. The characteristics of this rosé are its fruitiness and unique flavors of Pinot Noir.

87 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "An almost invisible touch of wood frames agreeably fresh and ripe liqueur of red raspberry nose that leads to solidly well-concentrated and delicious flavors that possess unusually good energy in the context of the vintage, all wrapped in a complex and lingering finish. This is really quite fine for what it is and recommended. Comments: Outstanding. Drink: 2014+. (Apr 2012)"
87 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2009 Bourgogne rouge is a very good and soil-driven example of the vintage and its appellation. The very pretty nose offers up scents of cherries, orange zest, gamebirds and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is fullish, complex and transparent, with a touch of tannin, good focus and very good length and grip on the finish. Good juice that will drink quite well from release, but will also keep nicely for several years. 2013-2020+? (Nov/Dec 2012)"

86-88 points and 'Outstanding Top value,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from vines in Meursault). A ripe and solidly complex nose offers up notes of plum, violet, earth and fresh red berry fruit aromas. There is the same fine complexity to the delicious and tension-filled flavors that do possess mildly rustic tannins but overall this is really very good. Worth considering for a house red. Drink: 2014+. (Apr 2012)"
86-87 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2010 Bourgogne Rouge wafts from the glass with sweet red berries, flowers and spices. It shows an attractive freshness and brightness that will allow it to drink for a handful of years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016. (Feb 2012)"

88 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2009 Bourgogne is a beautiful, harmonious wine bursting with juicy red fruit. The soft, engaging personality makes this an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years. This is declassified fruit from the Santenay 1er Cru La Comme and a 1er Cru fruit from St. Aubin. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017. Benjamin Leroux is one of Burgundy’s most promising young winemakers. Leroux is best known for the wines he makes at Comte Armand, one of the reference-point properties in the Cote de Beaune. Since 2007 Leroux has made wines under his own label using a micro-negociant model that has become increasingly popular in Burgundy. Leroux sources fruit from some of Burgundy’s top sites and bottles an eye-popping 27 different wines, most in 2-3 barrel lots... (May 2011)"
'Outstanding Top value' and 87 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(Leroux indicated that 95% of this was from a blend of Santenay 1ers). Mild reduction doesn't completely hide the earthy and ripe dark berry fruit aromas but I would definitely recommend decanting this for 20 minutes or so first. The rich and delicious flavors are agreeable already and there is impressive depth and length for a wine at this level though it's not hard to understand why. Drink: 2012+. (May 2011)"

A blend of estate fruit along with declassifited fruit, mostly from Marsannay and Ladoix and Côte de Nuits villages. Jammy and rustic on the nose. Round and silky-textured fruit which is very juicy, with some tannin. Sweet and racy acidity on the finish. 1,000 cases produced.

86 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A relatively pretty nose that is both fresh and expressive offers up notes of red berry fruit, earth and a hint of plum. There is good punch to the delicious, round and naturally sweet middle weight flavors that possess good volume and enough depth and length to transcend the ordinary. Drink: 2013+. (Jan 2013)"

90+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "For many years the Roty Ouzeloy was my 'go to' wine in the village and I have bought and drunk cases of this wine with great pleasure in many previous vintages. The 2009 Ouzeloy is excellent, offering up a deep and nicely reserved bouquet of black cherries, cassis, grilled meat, coffee bean, a touch of iodine, lovely soil tones and spicy wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and ripely tannic, with a superb core of fruit, fine focus and a very long, youthful finish. This will need several years to blossom, but it too will be an outstanding wine and a great value. 2017-2040. (Jun 2012)"
89 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from 80+ year old vines). A subtle application of toast presently sits atop black cherry, plum and warm earth aromas that precede the supple and more refined medium-bodied flavors that possess ample amounts of dry extract as well as fine volume, all wrapped in a sappy and unusually persistent and mildly woody finish. This certainly possesses fine underlying material but I suspect that it will always be slightly toasty. I bother to point this out because while the toast is not intense enough to affect the wine's balance, it is a character that definitely isn't neutral. Drink: 2016+. (Jan 2012)"

90 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Good deep red. Black cherry, licorice and menthol on the nose and palate, lifted by a note of violet. Bright, minerally and gripping, with firm tannins that coat the teeth. Finishes with intriguing saline minerality and the structure to age. (Mar/Apr 2013)"
