5 stars, 19.5/20 points, Decanter: "A mix of 1989 and '90; a muscular wine with grip, will become gracious. Curvier than 2009. Drink: 2016-2039. (May 2012)"
92-94+ points Robert Parker: "The Chateau Beaucastel 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape is a classic blend of 30% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre, 10% Syrah, 10% Counoise and the balance other permitted varietals. Surprisingly ripe and soft with a dense ruby/purple color as well as lots of blueberry, scorched earth and blackberry notes intermixed with hints of roast beef and bouquet garni, this wine has structure, but the fruit dominates at present. By the standards of most top vintages of Beaucastel, this cuvee will be drinkable earlier than the normal ten years. I suspect it will put on more weight, so give it 5-6 years of cellaring and drink it over the following three decades. (Oct 2011)"
92-94 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "(roughly 30% each of grenache and mourvedre, with 10% each of counoise and syrah and the balance 'everything else'): Vivid ruby. Fresh raspberry and cherry on the intensely perfumed nose. Sappy and sweet, with deep red fruit preserve flavors and hints of succulent herbs and rose pastille. Packs a punch but also shows impressive energy and balance. The raspberry note carries through on the finish, which also features a suave, slow-building note of star anise. (Jan/Feb 2012)"

92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "(served from magnum). This magnum is the same cuvée as the regular-sized bottle above (2008 base wine with thirty percent of the blend comprised of wines from 2006 and 2007), but for some reason, it was showing even a bit more youthful generosity in the mid-palate out of the larger format. This is a quite as dry styled Brut bottling, with a dosage of 7 grams per liter of residual sugar, and will age extremely well. The classy nose wafts from the glass in a blend of apple, a touch of tangerine, complex minerality, bread dough and a nice dollop of smokiness up high. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and complex, with a bit more early stuffing showing at the core, the same brisk acids, frothy mousse and a very long finish of excellent focus and grip. I love the Billecart non-vintage Brut and am very pleased to see it more readily available here in New York that used to be the case. As the slight difference in score might indicate, Champagne always tastes better out of magnum! Fine juice. 2013-2030. (Jan/Feb 2013)"
91 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Light yellow-gold. Orange and pear aromas are complemented by notes of vanilla bean and honeysuckle. Silky in texture and nicely precise, with juicy orchard fruit flavors and a tangy note of Meyer lemon. Dry but in no way austere. Blends depth and energy smoothly and finishes with excellent clarity and nervy cut. (Dec 2010)"
91 points Wine Spectator: "Aromatic and spicy, with cedar, honey and ginger notes matching a firm structure and lean, intense character. Fine length."
91 points Wine News: "Lots of honey scents frame aromas of pineapple, apricot, chalk, yeast and brioche. Crisp, focused flavors of apple, orange marmalade, caramel and bread dough. Flint emerges in the dry finish. (Dec 2006/Jan 2007)"
Wall Street Journal: "Very good. Best of tasting. Pretty much all the aromas and flavors we want in Champagne--toasted nuts, yeast, minerals, a hint of zingy lemon and even some honeysuckle--all in a balanced, elegant package that gives it a relaxed sophistication. (12/13/08)"
Richard Juhlin: "(35% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier, 35% Chardonnay) This is the creation of the son, Antoine Billecart. I claim this to be the best nonvintage Champagne of the extremely fruity school. The nose is lively and as fresh as a spring morning, the flavor is light and citrus-fresh with a long, balanced aftertaste of Granny Smith apples. Softer, sweeter, and more creamy recently. (Feb 2010)"

94 points Wine News: "Light copper-orange hue; active stream of small bubbles. Enticing scents of bread dough, caramel and buttery fragrances. Soft entry with creamy vanilla, a nice balance of grains and light, malty nuances. A cleansing, racy grapefruit-inspired finish with pleasant, sweet overtones. (Dec 2008/Jan 2009)"
93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "(served from magnum). I very much like the elegance of this bottling, which probably owes a debt to the fifty percent chardonnay in the blend. Out of magnum, the wine is drinking splendidly, offering up a complex and vibrant bouquet of melon, tangerine, wheat toast, lovely minerality, rose petals and a gentle topnote of smokiness. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very refined, with a lovely core, elegant mousse, crisp acids and a very long, focused and complex finish. I really wish Billecart would join several other serious Grandes Marques in putting dates of disgorgement on the back label, so that one could better gauge when to start popping corks on their lovely non-vintage bottlings. 2013-2025. (Jan/Feb 2013)"
93 points Anthony Dias Blue (The Tasting Panel): "Pale pink, juicy, smooth, ripe, and tangy with raspberry; lush and tangy with great depth; racy acidity and seamlessly balanced; lovely. (Dec 2012)"
92 points Wine Spectator: "Bright and elegant, this offers appealing flavors of ripe black cherry, raspberry and orange peel that show hints of toasted raisin bread, anise and sweet smoke. Offers a beautiful texture, with a long, mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2015. (11/15/11)"
92 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "(disgorged June 30, 2010): Light orange. Tangerine, pear and flowers on the nose, which is complicated by a note of fennel. Broad and sappy but dry, with lively orange and strawberry flavors and a subtle note of spice cake. Weightier on the finish, which features an exotic note of spicy herbs. This Champagne’s delicate touch will make it work well with simple seafood dishes or even sashimi. (Dec 2010)"
Wall Street Journal: "Unlike many Champagne houses that may turn out a token bottling, rosé is the main focus of Billecart-Salmon. It's a dry, delicate rosé with a lively acidity that makes it a good companion to food -- as well as a great wine for a celebratory toast. (8/6/11)"

96-99 points Fine Wine Review: "...the Montrachet itself shows pure butter aromas and flavors with finesse, great depth, length, and great bite. It is outstanding Montrachet; for me, there is no single Montrachet reference, but stylistically, I would say this is in the middle, with the richness of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti at one end and the finesse of Drouhin’s Marquis de Laguiche at the other end. (Issue #125; 2009)"
97 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .89 ha parcel of Puligny vines). While not more elegant than the Cabotte, this is quite a bit more complex with a stunning range of fruit, citrus, floral and spice aromas that complement to perfection the very rich, full and strikingly concentrated broad-scaled flavors that are supported by plenty of dry extract that buffers a firm core of ripe acidity on the beautifully intense and flat out incredibly lingering finish. What really impresses me about the '07 though is that despite the impressive heft, the finish remains laser-like in its focus. A 'wow' wine in every sense except for one, which is that this is not an imposing or massive vintage for this wine. Otherwise, this is sensational, especially in terms of its impeccable balance. Drink: 2019+. (Jun 2009)"
94 points David Schildknecht (Wine Advocate): "The Bouchard 2007 Montrachet is scented with peaches, ocean breezes, narcissus, musk, and a hint of sweat, setting the tone for a creamy palate brimming with richly ripe fruit and invigoratingly tinged with salt, sweat, white pepper, lemon zest, and peach fuzz. This is more emphatically concentrated than its Chevalier counterparts as well as -- predictably -- more overtly rich, but less alluring, and lacking the dynamic or lift that made the La Cabotte bottling especially memorable. Still it is formidably rich stuff, which one hopes will display stamina in bottle concomitant with its palate persistence. If I had some, I would not open a bottle for several years and would anticipate a decade or more of rewards. (Dec 2009)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2007 Roses de Jeanne Blanc de Noirs Les Ursules reveals gorgeous richness in its red fruits, spices and flowers. Today the 2007 comes across as a bit two-dimensional, but much of that has to do with its youth and the inevitable comparisons with some of the vintages that preceded it in this tasting. In time, this too should develop into splendid wine, today it is merely outstanding. Bouchard likens 2007 to 2001 -- another cold, damp vintage -- then adds he relishes the challenge of making wines in difficult years as it is precisely these harvests that provide the ultimate test of a grower’s skill. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. (Jul 2010)"

98 points Robert Parker: "There are nearly 1,000 cases of the 2006 Ermitage l’Ermite, another candidate for perfection in a few years. It boasts an inky/ruby/purple color as well as a stunning bouquet reminiscent of a grand cru Musigny from Burgundy. Spring flower, crushed rock, black raspberry, and black currant scents dominate the aromatics of this incredibly pure, full-bodied wine. With laser-like precision and enormous extract and concentration, it comes across as remarkably elegant and fresh with crystal clear focus. A beautiful tour de force from the decomposed granitic soils of this site on the top of the Hermitage mountain, this amazing wine requires a decade of cellaring, and should last for 35 years. (Apr 2009)"
97 points Wine Spectator: "[$380/750ml list] This Northern Rhône red is tightly wound, but also supersleek and racy, with a terrific beam of blackberry and raspberry ganache pushed by graphite, iron and violet notes. Long and extremely precise, with a terrific mouthwatering undertow. Best from 2010 through 2026. 955 cases made. (6/15/09)"
94 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Full ruby. A roomfilling bouquet of fresh red and dark berry scents, along with smoked meat, violet, incense and minerals. Wonderfully fresh in the mouth, with vibrant raspberry and black cherry flavors. Gentle tannins rein in the expansive fruit without standing in its way. The finish is all about fruit, with late-arriving notes of black olive and smoky minerals. Extremely sexy now but balanced to age." Organic/biodynamic since 1991 (certified by Biodyvin/Demeter).

89 points Wine Enthusiast: "It takes a while to get beyond the dry structure of this wine. But underneath that initially forbidding exterior, there is a solid core of ripe, sweet black fruits and an elegant balance with the acidity coming through to finish well. A wine for some aging--maybe 3-4 years. Alcohol 13%. (Dec 2009)"
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. 30% of the wine was aged for 18 months in new French oak; 70% in 1-year-old oak. 2006 was a very good vintage at du Seuil. The wine has many of the characteristics of a classic Bordeaux vintage: good acidity, concentrated, forward tannins and a complex, pleasant fruitiness. Multiple levels of structure and integrated oak flavors.

95 points Wine Spectator: "A brute right now, with a wall of bacony, coffee-tinged toast separating you from the core of blackberry and raspberry fruit. Great richness and texture here, with notes of tar, minerals, saddle leather and cocoa rippling through the finish. Mouthwatering acidity balances it all. Best from 2007 through 2020. 2,415 cases made. (8/31/04)"
94 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Good bright medium ruby. Subtly complex, granitic nose melds cassis, blueberry, smoky gunflint, pepper, tar, bitter chocolate, roast coffee, leather, game and animal fur. Wonderfully juicy but currently rather folded in on itself. But this has brilliant acidity, precision and penetration on the palate. Almost painfully intense and wonderfully long and gripping on the back. Very firm and structured but not at all dry. This will need a good decade of additional cellaring. (Jan/Feb 2005)"
91-95 points Robert Parker: "Tasting through the component parts of the 2001 Hermitage reveals what should be an outstanding wine with a Burgundian-like finesse. The most elegant component emanates from Les Beaumes and Pelia, and the denser, thicker wines from Meal, l’Ermite, and Bessards. The wine will possess a dense ruby/purple color in addition to plenty of sweet cassis fruit, medium body, noticeably high tannin, and gorgeous purity as well as symmetry. It will be built along the lines of the 1996 rather than the 2000 or 1999. (Jun 2003)"

95-96 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "[$250 list] I tasted this wine in three components from stainless steel tanks, where it was awaiting bottling this winter. #1: Red berries and flowers on the nose, with strong mineral and floral notes and Asian spices. #2: More masculine and brooding, offering deep cherry compote and blackcurrant scents and suggestions of licorice and black cardamom. Smoky dark fruit flavors are framed by chewy tannins and pick up sweeter red berry qualities with air. The finish is sweet and penetrating, with a strong echo of black raspberry. #3: Fresh raspberry and cherry on the nose, with notes of smoked meat, minerals and violet. Supple, mineral-laced red fruit flavors are joined by allspice and violet pastille on the back. Very fresh sample with strong finishing lift and spiciness. Looks to be an excellent wine that will provide plenty of pleasure on the (relatively) young side. (Jan/Feb 2010)"
95 points Wine Spectator: "Tight but already alluring, with gorgeous fig cake and warm cocoa aromas slowly yielding to a dark, dense core of plum, blueberry, hoisin sauce, currant reduction and maduro tobacco. Muscular but supervelvety, with a long finish. There’s very impressive density for the vintage. Best from 2011 through 2026. 500 cases imported. (7/7/10)"
95 points Robert Parker: "[$250/750ml list] The spectacular 2007 Hermitage boasts a dense purple color along with notes of creme de cassis, loamy soil, crushed rocks and acacia flowers, a rare opulence and a full-bodied style. Reminiscent of the 1991 Hermitage (a great vintage for Chave as well as most top producers in Hermitage), it should drink well for 20-25 years. (Feb 2011)"
95 points Rhone Report: "More fresh and lithe than the .06, the 2007 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage displays gorgeous aromatics of cassis and blacker styled fruits, charred steak, a touch of flowers, and beautifully integrated oak on the nose. Fleshing out with additional air, the wine has an overall elegant, finesse style that.s backed up by good concentration, plenty of tannin, and a focused, silky finish. While approachable now, this should be cellared for 4-6 years and then consumed over the following decade. (Mar 2011)"

Silky and full-bodied, with distinctive personality, this ripe, thick and well-made white has earthy, smoky, bread dough and beeswax complexity. Best from 2004 through 2014. 1,080 cases made. (8/31/02)"
92 points Robert Parker: "A retasting of the 1998 Hermitage blanc confirmed its brilliant quality. It is an elegant, floral-scented, structured white Hermitage. It boasts fabulous concentration, but is less flattering and precocious than either the 1999 or 2000. If the latter two wines lean toward a flamboyant style, the 1998 should prove to be one of the more muscular, long lived, backward efforts requiring patience. (Apr 2002)"

92-94 points Robert Parker: "I tasted component parts of the 2001 Hermitage blanc. Aromas of acacia flowers, honeysuckle, and citrus were followed by a medium to full-bodied white with loads of glycerin as well as heady fruit and alcohol. Elegant, medium to full-bodied, and crisper, it is more obviously backward than the 2000. (Jun 2003)"
93 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Pure, subtle aromas of yellow plum, spices, flowers and nutty oak. At once sweet and gripping, with a glyceral middle given shape by flavors of lemon skin and spices. Very subtle and very long, finishing with terrific backbone. (Jan/Feb 2005)"

18/20 points Anthony Rose (The World of Fine Wine): "Vivid in color, this doesn't look its age and it's equally fresh on the nose, with an enticing complex character blending notes of spicy oak, stone-fruits, and honey, and following through to a remarkable fresh and vigorous dried-fruit and truffley palate for a wine of nearly a decade in age; it's powerful and intensely flavored, with excellent concentration of fruit flavor and real complexity. 90 points and 'Year's Best White Burgundy,' Wine & Spirits: "A classical Chablis from the fourth generation of this family domaine, this wine’s crisp green apple and bright lime flavors have fruit intensity that lasts. A central spine of acidity keeps it fresh and lively. For raw oysters now, or wood-roasted oysters if you age this for a few years. (Apr 2013)"
San Francisco Chronicle: "(12.5%): Young Romain Collet has taken over the estimable work of his father Gilles, a locally known talent. Let's hope the Collet name catches here: From the single Pargues parcel next to the premier crus Butteaux and Forest, this reveals surprisingly ripe quince and apricot amid deep flinty tones. That makes it a touch friendlier in all its mineral energy. Instantly pleasing. (5/6/12)"
The Collet family has cultivated wines in Chablis since the late 1700s. 27-year-old Romain now represents the fourth generation to run the winery. Les Pargues is raised in stainless steel and is very mineral driven.

93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2010 Combottes was also just a touch reduced at the time of my visit and ready for its racking, but underneath is an absolutely stellar bottle in the making. The superb nose offers up a lovely, red fruity mélange of strawberries, cherries, coffee, beautifully complex soil tones, mustard seed, roses and a deft base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, racy and very soil-driven, with a fine core of fruit, excellent focus and balance, suave tannins and very fine grip on the long and racy finish. There is a closing note of sappiness here that is really lovely and this wine just exudes the elegance that is the hallmark of the best wines of the 2010 vintage. 2020-2060. (Nov/Dec 2011)"

The brilliantly complex nose soars from the glass in a blaze of grapefruit, lemon, apple, a touch of anise, chalky minerality and spring flowers. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure on the attack, with a sappy core of fruit, stunning focus and transparency, snappy acids and exceptional length and grip on the rapier-like finish. Given that this was only bottled two weeks ago, I am probably underestimating its absolute quality by a small margin! 2016-2045. (Nov/Dec 2011)"
93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from two .5 ha parcels divided between 1/3 Pied d’Aloup and the rest from Chapelot). A wonderfully elegant and highly expressive nose consists of white flower, oyster shell and iodine aromas that are very much in keeping with the powerful yet refined broad-scaled flavors that possess both excellent volume and concentration, all wrapped in an explosive and gorgeously long finish. The combination of punch and civility is most beguiling. 93/2017+. (Oct 2012)"
93 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "[$60/750ml list] Bright, pale greenish-yellow. Aromas of lemon and crushed rock. Densely packed and sharply chiseled, with outstanding lift to the citrus, mint and powdered stone flavors. This utterly uncompromising wine offers a powerful sensation of terroir but is impossible to drink right now. Finishes extremely long, dry and pure, with superb stony lift. A great and eminently ageworthy premier cru. (Jul/Aug 2012)"
17.5/20 points Michael Edwards (The World of Fine Wine): "Pale, youthful color; very tight and fine, all the rocks and stones of Montée de Tonnerre shaping brooding, as yet closed, flavors. Lovely fruit to come. A keeper. (Issue #35; 2012)"
4 stars Decanter: "Fresh minerally nose. Very elegant, ripe, lively, juicy and fresh mouthful with a minerally acidity and lovely balance. Quite understated and should develop. Drink: 2012-2020. Alcohol: 12.5%. (Jul 2012)"

The reserved and superbly complex nose offers up scents of grapefruit, lime, chalky minerality, lemongrass and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine deep, full-bodied and very pure on the attack, with racy acids, excellent focus, great mid-palate density and a very, very long, perfectly balanced and bracing finish. A brilliant bottle of Vaudésir. 2018-2050+. (Nov/Dec 2011)"
92-95 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from two separate parcels of vines, the larger of which is in the heart of the "amphitheater" from which the finest examples of Vaudésir originate). A riper yet almost equally elegant nose features extract of white and yellow orchard fruit, sea breeze and pungent stone notes. Size-wise, this is between the Bougros and the Valmur with impressively dense and powerful flavors that coat the palate with dry extract that also buffers the firm acid spine on the hugely complex and energetic finish. Despite the punch and weight, this is relatively fine and I quite like the silky texture. Comments: Don't miss! Drink: 2017+. (Oct 2011)"
94 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "($80/750ml list; the yield here was just 32 hectoliters per hectare, according to Seguier): Pale green-yellow. Subtle, very pure aromas of pineapple, spices and minerals. Enters the mouth with noteworthy sweetness but penetrating acidity gives terrific cut to the citrus, pineapple and dusty stone flavors. Wonderfully intense fruit here. Finishing flavors of lemon, lime and minerals stain the palate on the vibrant, rising finish. This will almost certainly shut down in bottle. (Jul/Aug 2012)"
17.5/20 points Michael Edwards (The World of Fine Wine): "Showing well already--a shade friendlier at this stage than the very fine 2008. A particularly luxuriant mouthfeel shaped by the Indian-summer ripeness of the fruit and the large barrels. Impressively pure and mineral, the bio principles nicely realized. (Issue #35; 2012)"

17/20 points Clive Coates (The Wines of Bordeaux): "Very good colour. Rick, full, fat and ample on the nose. This is very promising. Fullish body. Vigorous. Very good tannins and grip. No astringency. A meaty, quite solid wine. Long, rich, and satisfactory. Plenty of life ahead. Very good indeed. Drink: Now-2008+. (2004)"
4 stars Michael Broadbent's Pocket Vintage Wine Companion: "Slow to evolve. A tinge of orange; excellent nose; surprisingly sweet entry leading to a very dry astringent finish by way of attractive fragrance and flavor. (2007)"

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "A beautifully fine mousse indicates the class of this finely crafted wine. It has some weight, flavors of green apples, with hints of fresh apricots. There is extreme freshness here, the style dry but rich. This bottling tastes young and would be worth aging six months. (Dec 2009)"
92 points Wine Spectator: "Well-structured and powered by firm acidity, this offers notes of glazed apple, black cherry, candied lemon zest and toasted brioche, with a lingering hint of mineral. Clean finish. Drink now through 2015. (12/15/12)"
91+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Henriot’s Brut Souverain bottling is the only cuvée here that customarily now includes a small percentage of pinot meunier in the blend, as the ostensibly half and half blend of pinot noir and chardonnay is augmented with three to five percent of pinot meunier, as the house now has a contract for pinot meunier fruit from a vineyard that they are extremely fond of at the very top of the Montagne de Reims. This is a bottling that I have become more and more impressed with each year that I taste it, as I have the feeling that it is seeing just a bit more bottle age in the cellar these days than was the case perhaps back when the Henriot family had just purchased Bouchard. The other possibility of course is that the relatively new inclusion of pinot meunier in this cuvée has made it more immediately impressive out of the blocks. In any case, the new release is
excellent, offering up a deep and youthfully complex nose of apple, tart orange, gentle notes of bread dough, fine minerality and a gentle touch of smokiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, crisp and complex, with a fine core of fruit, elegant mousse, and a long, crisp and focused finish. A lovely wine that will age very well indeed. 2012-2030. (Jul/Aug 2012)"

95 points Rhone Report: "Showing brilliantly from tank last year, and not disappointing from bottle this year, the 2010 Domaine de la Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a stunning bottle of wine! A blend of 80% Grenache and equal parts Syrah and Mourvedre, its opaque purple color is followed by knockout aromas of blackberry liqueur, flower oil, liquid mineral, licorice, and graphite. Not losing a beat on the palate either, with a full-bodied, structured, and edgy feel, as well as brilliant purity of fruit, this serious, age-worthy effort needs a handful of years in the cellar, and has 15-20 years or more of total longevity. While the chase will be on for the Cuvée Chaupin and Vieilles Vignes bottlings, do not overlook this wine! (Sep 2012)"
94 points Robert Parker: "The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape is the most widely available (nearly 30,000+ bottles produced even in a small vintage such as 2010) of Janasse’s Chateauneufs. It exhibits a dense purple color along with a glorious perfume of blackberries, creosote, scorched earth, smoked herbs, cassis and kirsch. Full-bodied with impressive purity, structure and precision, this is a more reserved, backward and structured effort than its 2009 and 2007 counterparts. (Oct 2012)"
92 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "[$68 list] Dark purple. Aromas and flavors of cherry compote, black raspberry and candied flowers. Densely packed but lithe and precise, with gentle tannins sneaking in on the finish. Showing noteworthy richness and power for an entry-level bottling, with the concentration to age slowly. (Jan/Feb 2013)"

Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Inky purple. Intense blackberry and raspberry preserve aromas show great depth and ripeness -no surprise, as Sabon told me that components of this are over 17.4% alcohol. Lush, creamy and almost liqueur-like in sweetness, but with good acid lift to the ripe boysenberry and blackberry flavors. Tannins sneak in on the back but are overwhelmed by the sheer weight of fruit. Stains the palate with dark fruit flavors. This was one of the highlights of my trip. 94-97 points."

90 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Medium red. Fresh red berry and cherry aromas accented by minerals and spices. Fresh acidity sharpens the brisk, mineral-laced redcurrant, bitter cherry and graphite flavors. Smoked meat and tobacco tones emerge on the bright, structured finish. (Jan/Feb 2007)"
