90 points Jay Miller (Wine Advocate): "[$20 list] The 2010 Chardonnay was barrel-fermented, put through full malolactic fermentation, and aged for 9 months in 30% new French oak. The enticing nose offers up hints of toast, pear, and tropical fruits, leading to a well-balanced wine with the fruit buttressed by vibrant acidity. Drink this tasty effort over the next 3-4 years. It is an outstanding value. (Dec 2011)"
89 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "(aged in one-third new oak): Pale bright yellow. Citrus peel, stone fruits, sweet herbs and spicy oak notes of ginger and cinnamon on the nose. Ripe, smooth and peachy, with a strong component of vanillin oak. A bit soft in the middle but quite dry and uncompromising, with a saline nuance on the back. (Mar/Apr 2012)"
Producer notes: "The Catena Chardonnay 2010 combines expressions of the High altitude vineyards. Adrianna vineyard, the highest one, gives flowers notes and a strong minerality. The Domingo vineyard provides dry fruits and a crisp finish. Finally, La Piramide Vineyard contributes honeyed tropical fruit flavors with an oily mouthfeel. This chardonnay presents a yellow greenish color with aromas of ripe pears, citrus, vanilla and mineral notes. On the palate, it is a clean fresh wine with crisp acidity. Whole cluster pressed, 100% barrel fermented in French oak (30% new) and aged for 9 months in barrels. Alcohol 13.9%."

88 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2011 Felino Chardonnay is whole cluster pressed from vines planted in Lujan de Cuyo, Tupungato and San Carlos. All but 5% is aged in stainless steel with just a smattering of new oak. It has a light bouquet of linden and Mirabelle that is defined but tightly coiled at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet coconut and shaved ginger-tinged entry. It is nicely balanced, the finish imbued with touches of honeysuckle and orange zest. Fine. Drink now-2016. (Oct 2012)"
Producer notes: "Bright aromas of pineapple and white peach jump out of the glass, with hints of orange blossom in the background. The silky texture belies a crisp, refreshing palate reinforcing the tropical fruit notes with delicate oak undertones and lively acidity on the finish. 5% fermented and aged for 9 months in French oak barrels (15% new); 95% stainless steel tank fermented."

90 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Pale yellow. Sexy, slightly exotic aromas of wild herbs, flowers, licorice, mint and spices. Juicy, saline and dry, with a subtly tactile mouth feel to the flavors of lemon verbena, lavender and botanical herbs. There's an enticing dusty impression of soil here but plenty of sweet citrus fruits too. Savory and serious but there's nothing austere about it. An outstanding example of Argentina's distinctive torrontes, which makes a perfect aperitif. (Jan 2012)"
90 points Jay Miller (Wine Advocate): "The 2011 Torrontes offers up enticing aromas of peach, melon, floral, and tropical fruit. Medium-bodied, dry, savory, and nicely proportioned, this lengthy effort will deliver plenty of enjoyment over the next 1-2 years. (Dec 2011)"
Producer notes: "Crios means 'offspring' and refers to both my children and my label of wines that display loveable fruit flavors and excellent balance. Torrontes is an aromatic wine grape unique to Argentina. It combines an intensely floral, citrusy aroma similar to Viognier with the dry, crisp taste of Sauvignon Blanc. This surprising combination makes it great to enjoy while making dinner, with cheese and snacks, with seafood and spicy Asian food, or all by itself on a warm evening. And there's no oak here, just a lot of motherly attention." - Susana Balbo

87 points Jay Miller (Wine Advocate): "[$11 list] La Yunta’s 2011 Torrontes is a refined expression of this increasingly popular varietal. Fragrant notes of spring flowers and tropical fruits lead to a supple, flavorful, dry wine with just enough acidity for balance. Drink this solid value over the next 12-18 months. (Dec 2011)"
Producer notes: "Notably aromatic of green melon and white peach. It has balanced citrus flavor with a touch of French oak to provide a crisp yet lingering finish. Wonderful as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to seafood or poultry. Alcohol 12.5%."

92 points Jay Miller (Wine Advocate): "The new releases include one white wine, the 2009 Chardonnay, always an outstanding value. It was barrel-fermented, went through full malolactic fermentation, and was aged sur lie for 14 months in 30% new French oak. Aromas of buttered popcorn, poached pear, and spiced apple inform the nose of a creamy-textured, spicy, ripe, medium-bodied wine. This nicely proportioned, lengthy effort will provide enjoyment over the next 4-5 years. (Dec 2011)"
91 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Bright light yellow. Aromas of peach, apricot, nutmeg and flowers, complemented by oaky nuances (30% new). Fat, rich and sweet but with solid balancing acidity. A full-throttle fruit bomb with impressive depth and 3D texture, from a Gualtallary vineyard planted at 4,700 feet. The pH here is a very reasonable 3.2 in spite of the vines' long hang and a hint of botrytis. (Mar/Apr 2012)"

Greenish yellow in color. The nose is complex and combines a blend of citrus fruits (such as pink grapefruit and lime) with white peach and notes of hay. On the palate, a good entry of fresh fruit, well-balanced with a clean finish.
