Producer notes: "[$20 list] Vivid fruit and full tannins define the 2011 A to Z Pinot Noir. The wine is pure, displaying pedigree and presence with a beautiful, clear, vibrant red color. Fresh aromas of lush forest berries and cherries lead, followed by more savory aromatics of tobacco, smoke, game, clean earth and flint. In the mouth, a focused attack of concentrated red and blue fruits grows in complexity on the mid-palate with ripe, dense tannins perfectly supported by the weight of the fruit. The wine completely harmonizes with a long finish of complex red fruit and mineral flavors. Alcohol 13.0%."
Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 89 points by Wine Spectator: "Light and refreshing, open-textured and inviting, offering raspberry, tea leaf and spice flavors that linger delicately. Drink now."

90 points Wine Spectator: "[$25 list] Light in color and texture, this Pinot displays pretty watermelon and cherry flavors that ride smoothly over velvety tannins, hinting at mint as this lingers enticingly. Drink now through 2016. Smart Buys. (9/30/12)"
Producer notes: "Imagine a walk down a Pacific Northwest forest trail in September, the warm, dry smell of firs and sunshine with ripe blackberries hanging off the vines and the cool trickle of a babbling brook over wet stones. That sums up the 2010 Argyle Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. This Pinot Noir has a surprising amount going on in the glass - from up front fruit to earthy complexity and spice nuances. Enjoy this taste of the Willamette Valley on the patio or on the forest trail."

92 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Bright red. Sexy, highly perfumed aromas of red berry liqueur, potpourri and cola, with a smoky topnote. Broad, open-knit raspberry and cherry flavors show very good depth and energy, with tangy acidity adding spine. Richer and darker in profile on the long spice- and floral-accented finish. This wine benefits quite a bit from aeration. (Jul 2012)"

90 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Bright red. High-pitched red berry and floral aromas are complicated by Asian spices and orange peel. Silky in texture and gently sweet, with vibrant strawberry and black raspberry flavors and a touch of bitter cherry. The supple, intensely fruity finish is spicy, focused and nicely persistent. This drinks well now but has the spine to age. (Sep 2011)"
90 points Wine Spectator: "Light and silky, dancing delicately over refined tannins and lively acidity to show red berry, cinnamon and clove flavors as the finish lingers. Drink now through 2017. (2/29/12)"
90 points and 'Year's Best Pinot Noir,' Wine & Spirits: "Warm and fresh with a scent of ripe strawberries, this wine’s flavors are loose-limbed and juicy, but a fruit skin tannin element holds all that ripeness in check. It’s an ideal red for chilling and drinking as an aperitif. (Oct 2012)"
Producer notes: "A lovely, precocious wine with a brilliant, deep garnet color and seductive, lush aromatics, in this wine spice and fruits dominate. Rich pie cherry and dried cherry impressions, with plummy blue and black fruit for depth and richness anchor the palate and lead to a sweet fruit entry. Tea leaves and spices are assertive, whether showing gingerbread, molasses, nutmeg, cardamon or delicate black pepper. The balance is almost perfect, with great acid, excellent weight without being ponderous, no alcohol apparent, nice breadth and length on the palate, and a bright, clean and elegant finish. Elegance, richness and balance--what we all aspire to. And what a standard-bearing pinot noir should reflect. 14.5% alcohol."

90 points Wine Spectator: "Firm in texture, with a peppermint edge to the juicy raspberry and red plum flavors, finishing in harmony with refined tannins. Drink now through 2018. (2/28/13)"
Producer notes: "A classic red-fruited Pinot Noir with dark, earthy, savory elements, characteristically cracked pepper, tea leaf, cinnamon, charcoal, matchstick, spice and plum. The acidity of the vintage gives a structure to suspend wood and tannin elements playfully on the palate. Balance is excellent, length good and final impressions are red, delicate and complex. Silk nap grip on the palate and acidity guarantee a very long life."

Producer notes: "[$29 list] This Pinot Noir is blended from several select vineyard sites comprised of Pommard and Dijon plant material and shows the softest, most approachable drinking style Elk Cove makes. Extremely long hang time in 2011 gave us wines with concentrated ripe fruit flavors, beautiful freshness and lower alcohol. These wines are why we love Oregon!"

*SPECIAL: Take 10% Off Listed Price! (We'll reduce item's price when processing your order.) 90 points Wine Spectator: "Smooth and broad, not heavy (and not rosé either) but mouthfilling with its pear and pineapple flavors, remaining tangy with lime and spice notes as the finish lingers. Drink now through 2014. 330 cases made. (2011)"
Producer notes: "Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes this wine is a 'Blanc de Noir', made in the same fashion as Champagne, but minus the bubbles! The fruit was whole cluster pressed right after picking and the lighter, higher quality juices were sent to a 1,000 gallon stainless-steel tank where they were allowed to settle for three days. The juice was then racked off the heavy sediment, leaving behind the color pigments and the tannins, into a second stainless-steel tank where it was inoculated and a slow cool fermentation was allowed to take place to complete dryness. The wine was aged on the lees left behind the by the yeast for six months. The lighter fluffier lees where frequently stirred during this time to provide a beautiful round richness to the body of the wine. The aromatics of this wine are intense and full of fruitiness. Tropical notes such as pineapple, passion fruit, and mango abound, as well as more traditional tree fruit aromas like white peach, Bartlett pear, and golden delicious apple. The wine is enjoyable alone but is amazing paired with seafood and creamier dishes and will accent well with spicier fair. 330 cases produced. Alcohol 13.5%."

89-91 points Jay Miller (Wine Advocate): "The 2010 Pinot Noir Signature Collection was tasted from a barrel sample. It displays a more expressive bouquet than the 2009, excellent depth and concentration, ripe red and black fruit flavors, and a medium-long finish. It reflects the excellence of the 2010 vintage. Give it 1-2 years of additional bottle age and drink it through 2020. (Oct 2011)"
Producer notes: "Appearance: deep garnet, bright ruby tint. Aroma: cherry, eucalyptus, raspberry, spice. Flavor: pomegranate, vanilla, cherry, oak, lavender. Mouthfeel: soft rich entry, nice texture, good weight, long lively finish. 13.0% alcohol."

Producer notes: "Sourced from some of our favorite vineyards in the Willamette Valley, this wine showcases the bright floral and red berry fruit flavors predominant in this region. The Sharecropper’s Pinot Noir of 2011 is aromatic with hints of black licorice, candied fruit, spiced hazelnut and rose petal. Flavors of toasted baguette, black cherry, clove and cinnamon are elegantly balanced with the refreshing acidity on the palate. Enjoy now through 2017+."
Not yet reviewed; International Wine Cellar wrote this on the 2010 vintage: "Light red. Fresh red berry and cherry aromas are complemented by notes of dried rose and white pepper. Fleshy and open-knit, with good clarity to its raspberry and cherry flavors. Finishes sweet and broad, with good energy and cling."

PinotFile: "[$25 list] 13.5% alc., screw cap. Released October 2011. Sourced from seven estate vineyards and includes fruit from sustainably-grown vineyards in the Willamette Valley. 100% de-stemmed, extended cold soak, native yeast fermentation, light pressing just before dryness to ensure a softer, fruit-forward style. Aged for 11 months in 25% new French oak barrels. Bottled without fining and filtration, and aged in bottle for 5 months before release. Moderately light reddish-purple color in the glass. Pleasant and nuanced on the nose, displaying aromas of redder fruits including raspberries, rose petals, and subtle oak. Medium weight array of sweet red Pinot fruits with a riff of savory herbs. Mild tannins and silky in the mouth. A good introduction to Oregon Pinot Noir. The day I sampled this, it was 90ºF, and after reviewing the wine, I put some ice cubes in my glass. This blunted the aromatics but softened the tannins and brought out the fresh red raspberry and red cherry flavors. Good. (5/15/12)"
89 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "[$25 list] Bright red. Lively redcurrant and strawberry aromas show good clarity and become spicier with air. Sappy and light on its feet, offering nervy red fruit flavors and a touch of bitter herbs. Finishes spicy and brisk, leaving a peppery note behind. (Jul/Aug 2012)"
Producer notes: "This fragrant nose of black cherry, brown sugar brûlée and vanilla leads to a mouth of fresh red plums. The sweet middle leads to a silky, seamless finish that lingers with spice. This Pinot Noir is a blend from Ponzi’s Avellana, Abetina, Linda Vista, Madrona, Aurora, Buteo and Estate Vineyards, as well as, fruit from sustainably-grown vineyards located in the Dundee Hills, Yamhill-Carlton and Eola Hills AVAs. Barrel aged in French oak (25% new) for 11 months. Alcohol 13.5%."

88 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "($19 list; 13.3%; bottled under screwcap). An extremely subtle touch of reduction knocks down the expressiveness of the otherwise pretty and diverse red berry fruit that includes notes of raspberry and cherry. There is reasonably good volume to the round, supple and quite forward flavors that are fashioned in an easy-to-like style, all wrapped in a dusty, clean and agreeably dry finish of moderate depth and length. Drink: 2013+. (Oct 2011)"
87 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$19 list] Another new entry into the under-$20 Oregon Pinot ranks, this one from Wilson Daniels. Oregon law requires that wines with varietal labeling be 95% the named varietal; here there is 3% Syrah in the cuvée. Tart red berries, leaf and herb mingle in a graceful, though light bottle. A nice balance of fruit, herb, acid and tannin, with a pleasing spicy finish. (Mar 2011)"
Producer notes: "Our Pinot Noir is a fresh, pleasing wine that captures the character of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The color is a light, translucent ruby hue characteristic of Pinot Noir. The bouquet reveals notes of raspberry, baked cherries, violets and orange zest with a hint of herbs. On the palate, look for notes of raspberry, cranberry and spice enveloped in a light, food-friendly acidity. This wine will continue to improve in bottle for the next two to three years. Made for RouteStock Cellars by our friends at Ponzi Vineyards. Pinot Noir 97%, Syrah 3%. Alcohol 13.55%."

90 points Wine & Spirits: "This wine’s scents of wild cherry and red plum are framed by a pleasant nut-skin bitterness. The texture is brisk and light; the nuttiness becomes more savory and vinous with air; fresh acidity guides the wine to a terse finish. A good value for wild mushroom pasta. (Apr 2011)"
88 points Wine Spectator: "[$20 list] Light and tangy, refreshing for its lively acidity against guava, Italian plum and delicate spice flavors. Lingers nicely. Drink now through 2014. (2012)"
87 points Wine Enthusiast: "Moderately full and roundly fruity, with an undertone of mineral or concrete. This is a nicely managed blend, with the balance and grip to age for another five years. Alcohol 13.3%. (Jun 2012)"
Producer notes: "Cinnamon, clove, rose petal, tobacco and ripe raspberry aromas lead to a mouth of fresh red cherry, sasparilla, and a focused middle of high-toned fruit leading to a spicy finish and fine tannins. Made for RouteStock Cellars by our friends at Ponzi Vineyards. Pinot Noir 96%, Gamay Noir 3%, Other 1%. Alcohol 12.8%."

90 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): "Medium red. Fresh red berry and floral scents show good energy and pick up spiciness with air. Bracing redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors show good depth and pick up a smoky nuance with air. Closes bright and long, with lingering spiciness and a touch of gingerbread. This wine shows the raciness of the vintage to good effect. (Jul 2012)"
90 points and 'Year's Best Pinot Noir,' Wine & Spirits: "Posh scents of strawberry jam lead into this wine’s generous, ripe strawberry flavors. It feels straightforward and fairly irresistible, with persistent tannins that lend heft. For smoked duck. (Apr 2013)"
Producer notes: "Crafted exclusively from estate fruit grown on our Dundee Hills property, this Jeunes Vignes (Junior Vines) bottling showcases the bright, pure fruit of our vineyard site and is made in an elegant, approachable style. Aromas of ripe red raspberries, Bing cherries, floral notes of lilac and violets, barrel spices of cinnamon and clove. This could stand up to full-flavored food. (Jul/Aug 2011)"
88 points Jay Miller (Wine Advocate): "[$25 list] The current collection begins with the 2009 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley. It is a forward wine displaying spicy dark fruit aromas and ample black cherry and black raspberry flavors. Drink this excellent value over the next 6 years. (Oct 2011)"
PinotFile: "13.5%. Moderate plum color in the glass. Aromas of black plums, prune juice and oak. Dark fruits are featured that have a ripe, cooked quality. Soft with supple tannins and a silky finish. (4/10/11)"
Producer notes: "Great natural acidity, balanced by powerful, complex and ageworthy fruit, is the hallmark of the vintage. The vineyard sources for the 2009 include 56% from our own Oracle Vineyard, 14% Abbey Ridge, 22% Coehlo Vineyard, and 8% La Cantera Vineyard. The wine has a broad flavor spectrum of Bing cherry, blueberry and sweet spice. Fruit aromas are complemented by notes of sweet clove spice and a hint of toasty vanilla oak. On the palate the wine is open and opulent, with loads of pure Pinot fruit, leading into a rich mid-palate and a balanced finish with a hint of well-integrated tannin. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration. Aging and a complete indigenous malo-lactic fermentation took place in 100% French oak, with 23% new and 30% one-year old barrels. 1666 cases & 14 cases of magnums produced."
