92 points Wine Enthusiast: "Sweet, mild, clean fragrance of lemon, juniper and licorice. This is a complex gin; more flavors can be detected with each sip: cinnamon spice, astringent pine needles, a touch of lime zest and, finally, a big licorice finish comes singing through. Slightly oily feel. Great for a gimlet or martini with a lemon twist. (Apr 2011)"
****Highly Recommended, F. Paul Pacult (Spirit Journal): "Transparent and impeccably clean. In the inital nosings I detect obvious scents of black peppercorn and juniper, with the pepper eclipsing the juniper by a degree or two; further aeration time stimulates some of the other botanicals, most prominently cassia bark, lemon peel and coriander for an intriguing bouquet wherein I pick up a smidgen more juniper than in regular Sapphire. Entry is botanically pleasing, but a touch sweet and fruity ripe, and therefore fuller in texture than the too-ethereal-for-me regular Sapphire; midpalate features piny/cedary juniper and the Thai lemongrass, as the black pepper aspect diminishes. Finishes cleanly, with a late gas pedal jolt of juniper and licorice. A line extension that overshadows the original Sapphire. (Dec 2011)"
Distilled by a unique vapour infusion process using 10 carefully selected botanicals. Delivers a complex, yet smooth taste. Try it in the ultimate martini or the preferred gin and tonic.

90 points Anthony Dias Blue (The Tasting Panel): "Rich sweet coconut nose; sweet, silky and showing authentic, creamy coconut cream and ripe, smooth rum; lush, spiced and offering a welcome kick of alcohol heat. (Jun 2012)"
Wine Enthusiast: "36% abv. Some spiced rums are merely colored, not aged; but this nut-brown spirit is made from a base of rum aged for four years in oak barrels. With that context, the boozy and slightly Bourbon-like toffee aroma makes perfect sense. Needs a little time in the glass to open up the flavors, but the reward is a sweet, subtly clove- and ginger-spiced spirit with a bitter almond finish. (Aug 2011)"
Brinley's "Shipwreck" is blended to match the old rums distilled with the exotic spices that would drift ashore from the fallen ships. This delicious spiced rum displays hints of orange, vanilla, nutmeg, and clove that are masterfully infused into a 4 year old blend. Smooth and flavorful, it can be enjoyed neat or in your favorite summer cocktail.

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$30 list] Pleasnatly sweet nose. Medium body and sticky-toffee flavor. This would be great mixed into cocktails, because the flavor is smooth but bold at the same time; it would blend without being completely lost. Finishes mellow, smooth, with just enough alcohol bite. Easy to like. Think Manhattans or Old-Fashioneds. (Sep 2010)"
Jim Murray (Whiskey Magazine): "One of the world's great whiskies." Producer notes: "Light bronze in color with streaks of gold, Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bears a complex aroma of vanilla, mint, and molasses. Its taste is pleasantly sweet and contains notes of brown sugar and spice that give way to oak and leather. The long and dry finish has significant depth. When enjoyed with water, flavors of toffee, dark fruit and anise are revealed."
Wine Spectator: "(style: classic - sweet corn and vanilla) You'll get sweet cinnamon and rich corn pudding in the nose, with hints of meadow grass and bergamot. This one's warm and rich, nicely balanced by drying oak that tamps down the cinnamon from the nose. Well-balanced and sippable. 90 proof. (1/31/12)"
Eric Felten (Wall Street Journal): "Nicely balanced, with a deep and slightly bitter wood, keeping rich fruit in check." (4/26/08)

93 points and 'Top 50 Spirits 2011,' Wine Enthusiast: "This sweet vermouth is deep and intriguing, from the dark winy color to the plummy, raisin-like fragrance. A fleeting sweetness, redolent of dried fruit and juicy prune notes, gives way to a dry, bitter finish, which saves it from becoming cloying. Medium to heavy in feel. Very easy drinking, especially with ice, and it's easy to imagine sipping this, well chilled, on a hot day. Highly Negroni-worthy. (Feb 2011)"

Jagermeister, meaning "hunt master" is a German bitter liqueur. Dating from the seventh century it is made of a complex blend of 56 herbs, fruits and spices and should be served icy cold.
91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Despite its overuse among college students as a get-drunk-quick shooter to cascade down ice luges, this is excellent digestif material for grown-ups too. This ruddy, herbal spirit is dominated by licorice and clove flavors, with a faint, bracingly bitter tinge in the medium-bodied mouth and on the finish. The college crowd got one thing right, though: Jäger is best icy cold. (Oct 2012)"

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "Golden honey color. The aroma is a pleasing mix of caramel and faint smoke. Bold, oaky flavors, rich feel and beautiful, lingering butterscotch finish with a faint whisper of smoke and just the right amount of bite. Sip over ice. (Mar 2011)"
'Recommended,' F. Paul Pacult (Spirit Journal): "Pale hue is the silvery/green color of oyster shell/fino sherry; excellent clarity. Smells faintly of flower garden deep into the growing season, meaning muted, earthy, and vegetal; further time in the glass allows for deeper aromas, especially grain, malt, flax, and oak to emerge. Entry is nimble in its supreme lightness and gently sweet; the midpalate stage displays a bit more profundity in the grain depth and flavor length. Ends up delectably sweet, easy, smooth, and better than average. Though hardly complex and to some perhaps frightfully rudimentary, it deserves a recommendation for its lovely, no-brainer drinkability. (2007)"
Kilbeggan is a uniquely Irish whiskey. Like most Irish people, Kilbeggan is easy going and approachable, but with its own distinctive style. The finest grain and malt whiskeys are blended together for the smooth, sweet taste and lovely malty finish that is Kilbeggan Irish whiskey.

93 points and 'Top 50 Spirits 2011,' Wine Enthusiast: "17% abv. A light, breezy apéritif for white wine lovers. This golden-orange liquid has a tart apple and citrus scent, with a touch of honeysuckle behind that, and a honeyed flavor with a dry, faintly spiced finish. Light-bodied and drinkable, made even more so with the addition of lime juice and club soda. Pair with cheese or charcuterie. (Feb 2011)"
**** Highly Recommended (Spirit Journal): "Golden raisin color; perfect clarity. First nosings pick up the indelible smell of ripe grapes and kiwi, plus some tropical fruit notes, like banana and guava; further aeration brings out a subtle spiciness that rounds out the bouquet in style. Palate entry is luscious, gently fruity/grapy, and keenly acidic, resulting in a remarkably fresh opening taste; midpalate taste profile features kiwi, white grapes, raisins, and a viny/brambly vegetal quality that keeps the ripe fruit in line. Ends up ripe, delicately spiced, and delicious. Always a favorite of mine and as I get older, I appreciate all the more the Blanc's completeness. Deserves the elevation in rating."

****Highly Recommended, F. Paul Pacult (Spirit Journal): "The bright copper color is warm and appealing to the eye; excellent purity. The first whiffs discover deep scents that include brown sugar, molasses, and vanilla bean; seven minutes of further air contact unleash layers of aroma that consist of succulent ripe tropical fruit (baked banana?), marzipan, refined sugar, and honey. The palate entry features off-dry flavors of sweet oak and maple; at midpalate there's a whole army of intriguing, bittersweet tastes including black pepper, molasses, dark chocolate, and palm oil. The finish is long, bittersweet, and woody. Every bit the match of the earlier expression; a truly lovely, sophisticated rum that's true to the tradition profile of Barbados."
93 points The Tasting Panel: "[$24 list] Medium amber color; lovely carmel and orange peel nose; lush, creamy and sweet with lovely brown sugar, spice and honey; rich, mellow and luscious. (Jul 2012)"
